LOL Ken, nope ya can’t blame this on the Wray School system. My Aunt who did teach English at Wray High, would have slapped me silly. I would like to consider the text above as a ’style’ of writing that I proudly use. Hope I didn’t offend ya?

Did you attend Wray public schools? If so, the district should be spending more time on grammar.

Re: “raising the cackles on the back of the publics hair” These are your words from the above story.

First of all, the term publics is supposed to be the possessive public’s. “Raising the cackles” is a misuse of the term, “raising the hackles.” Hackles are the hairs on the back of a dogs neck that are raised in response to fear or anger. It would make more sense if the hackles were raised on the public’s neck. “Cackles,” as defined by the Oxford dictionary, are sounds made by a bird.

Yeah, and with a PC, you get the chance to say what you want, exactly how you want to say it, and in entirety and then send it. No one can interrupt your thought process. Yeah, much more peaceful that way.
