Maybe I shouldn’t have had that second glass of wine with lunch, but in my neck of the woods, “Breaking wind” means flatulence. But then again that same term could mean that a tree was a wind break (here in the boonies, farmers planted trees around their barns and homes to create a ‘wind break’) and this is what this old solitary tree was once part of, a wind break. If ya look at the tree in the pix, the upper most branch seems to point to where it wants the clouds (i.e. the wind) to break at. Hence the obnoxious title for this picture.
If you don’t like the pix, I at least hope you are smiling ’cause you are thinking about “Breaking Wind”
That’s my story and I am sticking to it!
